Hi!  I'm Karen Brownfield!

​The place where my deep gladness meets the world's need is helping burned-out strivers grow toward joy-filled thrivers within a relaxed and confidential coaching space. 

​

Most of my life, I have been stuck on a hamster wheel of endless striving. The pursuits were worthy- pursuing flourishing for my residents as their licensed nursing home administrator, nurturing my family as a stay-at-home wife and mom, expanding mindsets as a homeschool teacher and parenting class instructor, caring for the grieving as a Stephen Minister, and championing the oppressed as a certified, trauma-informed domestic abuse advocate. But they never satisfied because they flowed from a need to earn belovedness rather than from a place of belovedness.

It was the ashes of my divorce that drove me to the beauty of a deepened connection with God, myself, my people, my purpose, and my new home base, and toward reorienting my life rhythms to support those key relational pillars. God was transplanting me from striving outside the garden in my brain’s fear zone to abiding inside the garden in my brain’s love zone, and it is now my life’s passion to share that journey with others.

As a fellow sojourner who has traveled her own resonant path from fear-zone living to love-zone living, I have earned my Associate Certified Coach (ICF) and Certified Professional Life Coach (PCCI) credentials to effectively facilitate sustainable change through in-person and Zoom life coaching in Rock Hill, SC. Here are some of the changes my clients are benefiting from:

• Re-orienting their inner critic towards greater self-compassion and self-care 

• Strengthening their relationships

• Discovering their purpose and passion, and how to integrate it into their current vocatio
